The HEAT series from Porter-Yoshida & Co. combines highly durable modern materials with military functionality to create a range of bags that are rugged, practical, and stylish. The main material used in their construction is a Japanese varistor nylon, woven from heavyweight 6.6 nylon thread — similar to that used for car airbags and bulletproof vests. The high-strength canvas, which provides excellent heat, abrasion, and tear resistance, is then paired with an industrial-grade tarpaulin for durability and water resistance in areas of the bag where it’s needed most.

This innovative tote-style bag offers a slimline design, the perfect size for a 14” laptop or a handful of 12” vinyl records — but which can be unzippered around its perimeter to expand its depth and carrying capacity for shopping trips, the gym, or day outings. Other key features include three internal pouches, a zippered outer pocket to organise valuables and essentials, and a two-section Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) for attaching small items such as keychains and carabiners.

To enhance the package, each HEAT series bag is also supplied with a Porter engraved mini Maglite torch, complete with battery and storage case.
